I'm sorry but I don't quite understand your question. You are trying to
install some (unnamed) program and it wants a product key? Enter the
product key. If you don't have the product key for the mystery program,
you'll need to get one by purchasing the program.

If this isn't what you meant, then please post back with a better
description of what you are trying to do. Here's a link that will show you
what details to include in that post so we can help you:

With second-hand computers, especially if acquired from strangers
but perhaps even if acquired from a family member or friend, your wisest
course of action would definitely be to format the hard drives and start
fresh. You don't want to get in trouble because the original owner may
have filled the hard drive with kiddie porn, or have problems because
the original owner downloaded/installed viruses or other malware.

Then you won't have to worry about someone else's "license number."

You got the hardware from a friend. So did this "friend" also provide
ALL the software, like the install CDs, and destroy any backups of that
software that they possessed? Maybe all you got was the hardware which
included a polluted drive, so now you get to install a new copy of
Windows (and have it wipe the partition before installing). When you
purchase a legal copy of Windows, you will get the product key for it.
Probably the same if you asking about some other UNNAMED software asking
for a product key. You'll have to buy it to get one.
