I use PP 2002. Last night I tried to change the private
information on a presentation and some how now, if I hit
the help and about it will show my girlfriends name as the
owner of the program. When you hit ABOUT It says "This
product license to "Betty Smith" instead of me. Not just
in PP, but Word,Excel, and all off the office programs .
How do I fix it back to my name???
Pete

Hi, Pete. Start Word 2002, then click on Tools | Options | User Information, change the owner name to what you want, and close Word. Next time you start Powerpoint 2002, it will pick up the name you just entered into Word 2002.

P.S. You can also change the owner name from Powerpoint by clicking on Tools | Options | General.

Also, if you want to remove all such info from a presentation, look here:
