I have a problem where OWA is requiring the user to insert
the Outlook CD in order to use some of OWA's features like
sending mail. Here is the situation:
- A user logs into a new Windows 2000 profile
- They then log into OWA with no problems
- As soon as they do anything like try to send an e-mail,
it asks them to insert the Outlook CD
- They do not have the Outlook CD so they hit cancel
about 10-20 times until they can finally send the e-mail
- If I insert the CD, it will pull somethings from the CD
and will not ask them for the CD any more when using OWA
from that Windows 2000 profile.
- It does the same thing on all the other workstations
when a new Windows 2000 profile is created.
- Also as a FYI, Outlook 2000 is loaded on all the
workstations as well but most of the times is not used
because they are using OWA
Why is OWA requiring the CD? I thought it was a web
client. Any help would be great.
Thanks, Mark
