I'm new to using OWA and having a probem I hope someone can help with!
When I am at work, everything works fine, using my windows XP Pro
laptop, I can connect to our LAN and I can open the OWA in my browser,
and open Outlook 2002, and they synchronize and I can drag my new
mails from my outlook active folders to my personal folder archive to
look at later.

However when I am at home, and I dial in to the internet, I can't find
a way to save my new mails to the personal archive folders. I can open
my OWA in my browser, and then open Outlook, but Outlook then says the
MS Exchanger Server is not available, and it wants me to work Offline.
Then it says it can't open the information store. So even though I can
see my new mails in my OWA browser window, I can't find a way to save
them on my laptop hard drive to access when I sign off the internet.

Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance for any help!

Jen,

OWA can be access from inside and outside work via your web browser. The
full version of Outlook can only be used while on your companies LAN (in the
office). If you want to use Outlook on your machine when you are at home
you will need to have a VPN connection setup which gives you remote access
to your companies network. Check with your IT department to see if they
have and will allow you to VPN into the company when working from home

Would the cache exchange mode in Outlook 2003 help me to do this? I
was reading about it and didn't quite understand it.
