I'm running Exchange 2003 with SP1 installed. Using Outlook Web Access, I
add an appointment to a public calendar. For sake of discussion, we'll say
starting at 12/16 at 6:00pm and ending 12 hours later... 12/17 at 6:00am.
In the daily view, the appointment is displayed correctly. 6:00pm to
midnight is blocked out on 12/16 and midnight to 6:00am blocked out on 12/17.
However, in the weekly or monthly view, the appointment is displayed
incorrectly. OWA shows the event as 6:00pm to 6:00am on both days instead of
spanning the appointment properly. (The actual Outlook 2003 client will
display the calendar properly.)
I've looked all over but can't find any reference to this issue. Is it a
known issue? And more importantly, is there a way to solve the problem
without spliting the appointment?
I'm using OWA to schedule firefighter shifts which are always going to be
overnight so having to split them every time is a major hassle. The
volunteers of Black Forest Fire Rescue would greatly appreciate any help you
might be able to provide.
