OWA 2003 Password Change returns IIS Error 5

Hi,
We have external users who need to change their email passwords through
Outlook Web Access. However, it returns IIS6.0 error number 5 from IE6 or
IE7. Firefox does not have this problem. Error number 5 means Access
Denied, right?! What could that possibly mean and what options do I need to
change to resolve it?

Any response or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the article and confirmed the
settings. They were OK. If you find any other article which you would like
to share that might help me solve the OWA password change problem for IE
browser, please let me know. Thanks!

Since you are using OWA, you might also want to post this issue to the
Outlook group as well.

Since you are using OWA, you might also want to post this issue to the
Outlook group as well.

Jon,

I have seen responders there say OWA really has more to do with
Exchange than Outlook, so I have been cross-posting OWA related
questions to Exchange Clients. I have no idea if there is an active
community there or not though. <eg>

That's a good idea, but like you, I don't know how active the Exchange
groups are - that's why I pointed to the Outlook group. I thought the user
base there would have the knowledge on OWA the use is looking for.
