With the new MS upgrades, I am now being asked to confirm that I want to
send each and every email that a procedure in Access 2000 sends through
Outlook. Is there a way to temporarily turn this off and turn it back on at
the end of the procedure? Before the upgrade, the procedure emailed all
20-50 messages with attachments without interruption.

Karen,

If you're using Outlook in an Exchange Server environment, you may want to
ask your Exchange Administrator to look into the administrative tools
described here:

http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/admin.htm

Otherwise, as Graham pointed out, you will need some help from a third-party
tool. I have been very happy with a free utility called ClickYes, which can
be downloaded from: http://www.express-soft.com/mailmate/clickyes.html .
I have used their code plus some additional Access VBA to turn the utility
on, run email processes and turn it off. I'll be glad to post it if you are
interested.

There is also another third-party tool highly recommended in the Outlook
newsgroups, Redemption. More information can be found at:
http://www.dimastr.com/redemption/ .

hth,
