Hi....I'm trying to figure out how to have a picture on a picture (If that's
possible) or even 3 or 4 pictures with text on the same screen. I'm working
on a pre-wedding video for a friend and trying to figure out how to have a
few pictures coming in/fading out (maybe 2-4 at once)....on a
slide....hopefully that makes sense.??? Any assistance appreciated.

For the 3 or 4 pictures and text idea...
you could create a collage in your image
editing program and import it as a single
image. There's a trial version of DIS 2006
available if you need an advanced image
editing program.

Starter Edition 2006

Also, you could create a large collage
with several images joined at the edges
and or layered with other images and text
and use Photo Story 3 to pan from one
section to another.

Then import the PS3 .wmv file into Movie
Maker.

A recent example from PapaJohn illustrates
that method. (I hope he won't mind if I post
the link). PapaJohn may have used some
other techniques that I don't know about but
the basic idea should be the same.

And, for the overlays...maybe the following
links will offer some ideas:

Go to...Editing Movies / XML Persian

if nothing too fancy is needed to make the picture collage, Paint will do...
when I want to use layers and blend them with levels of transparency, I use
Paint.NET

John... you never need to ask to pass along a link... thanks
