overlapping lines

I have one line in the detail section of my report set to be able to grow as
needed. There is a line immediately below that line. If I put the two lines
one right under the other, if the first line "grows," the second line
overlaps it, writing both lines info on the same line. If I move the second
line down, the overlapping problem is fixed for when the first line wraps,
but if it doesn't, there's a second, unwanted, blank line between the two
printed lines.

Is there a way to move the second line down only if the first line wraps?

Check the CanGrow property in Help and the Controls' PropertySheet. That is
just what it is for.

Actually, the CanGrow property was checked and that ended up being my
problem. My second detail line controls' top edge was above the bottom edge
of the controls in the first detail line, so when the first line grew, it
overlapped the second line.
I got it fixed, though, by simply moving the second line's controls down a
hair.

Thanks!
