Schould I overide automatic cookie handling? First party? Third party?
Allow session cookies ?
Thanks

Let say, as an example, that you want to block all cookies;
so you set that as your base setting, but you want to do
some on-line banking and that requires cookies. So you set
to over-ride the base setting for THAT URL or domain ONLY.

You can also do the converse, allow all cookies except the
cookie from those porn sites you surf.

Set cookies to MEDIUM and leave it there. After doing a
lot of surfing just delete all cookies. Before you run
ad-aware or spybot you can remove cookies and both will
run with clean results.

when in internet options>privacy>advanced - tick "overide
auto cookie handling , tick block 3rd ,tick prompt
1st ,allow session cookies.
this way you are asked what to do when a site tries to
send a cookie .some cookies log you on to forums
automatically some remember details of your account
details if shopping and some spy on you for spamming .I
often go to my cookie folder just to check I recognise
the cookie sites in there.
