with 512ddr ram and a jetway m/b and im having some bad
problems with overheating. my cpu starts of at 20 degress
and makes its way to 49 when its only using windows xp.
wene i try to run games they ome uyp with an error after
5min or they just crash. plz ould some one give me a new
cooling sugestion.

this is a windows xp newsgroup. contact your computer manufacturer. 49
degrees isn't that hot. worry when it starts getting into the 60's +

Games crashing is often a result of an overheating video card. Make sure
you have proper cooling on the video card and good ventilation for the case,
otherwise it's just recycling hot air really quickly around the components
and can't bring any cool air in.

Are you overclocking? I've found this to cause this sort of problem.

Your case and fans may be clogged with dirt (vacuum) or be inefficient. If
vacuuming doesn't work, then replacing the case or adding more efficient
fans might help.
