Hi out there,
I've been sorted in my quest to find missing Outlook Express, but having got
it back I still have the same problem - text overflowing its boxes and
obliterating other text, and preventing access to other parts of the screen
(for instance, and in particular, searching for cars on the
www.autotrader.co.uk website, where its impossible to select parameters due
to overflowing text from higher boxes.)
Pressing Control and minus makes no odds.
The same site viewed via Mozilla Firefox is fine. Any clues? (apart from
sticking to Firefox, which seems pretty good!)

Click a blank spot on the desktop and select Properties.
Go to the Settings tab and click Advanced.
In the Display section of the General tab set the DPI to Normal size
(96DPI).

It appears that you can scroll those lists without showing their complete
contents. Try that instead? Also try tabbing out of the boxes. That
is more likely to allow you to navigate through the form.

BTW if you mean that you are seeing residual information from already
used lists, a likely cause of this symptom could be a problem with your
display driver. To test that try reducing your display settings. If that helps
see if the manufacturer has a newer driver.

Pressing Control and minus makes no odds.

Try switching to Fullscreen mode? (Press F11)
