I need to overcome the 10 connection limit for WinXP Pro, and am looking at
a Snap server or similar NAS device for file sharing. Has anyone experience
of this, and will it overcome the problem, then I will just use the XP box
for ICS and as e-mail server?

Best Regards

Paul,

Yes, I am aware of that.
My point is that I am only hitting the problem for file sharing, therefore
will moving file sharing out of the XP box and into a NAS device be a
technically workable solution?

Of course but you would have to use a non-Microsoft solution for serving
files, or ateast a non-Windows File Sharing/SMB solution. A web based file
server would be interesting but if I am not mistaken, IIS (aka PWS) also has
a user cap too.
