overburning

I am looking for cd burn software which can overburn without hiccupping.
Anything reliable..? or atleast warn that there is not enough disk
space?

Try also the newsgroup alt.comp.periphs.cdr

Your cd-burner must support overburning. You must realize that
overburning is against the standards which were set for cd's, so not
all players may be able to handle the cdr's.

Thanks. I found that out :-) Incidentally we had a version of Nero
bundled with another burner(Lite-on). It would not work with my old HP
complaining that it is not meant (?) for HP (or something to that effect).
Fleurio has all sorts of nag screens. I deleted that right away....

1.) this isn't freeware. Please keep on topic in here...

2.) FYI: there seems to be a big problem with Nero 6.0, as I learned from
other groups. It seems that when you try to erase a directory through
Nero, your complete HD is erased. Ahead has confirmed this and is working
on a patch for this....
