OVERALL SYSTEM SLOW

i just installed windows xp home and cpu my is really
slow.
it takes bout a minute and a half to load windows, and it
also takes a long time to load applications and
everything. basicaly overall system performance sucks. my
pc specs are a: p3, 733mhz,12.5hd,and 128mb of rambus.
could someone please help me with this problem, also it's
not the patch because i haven't ran the up date client
yet.

Maybe 128 Mb of ram is too little to run Windows XP

my windows xp pro. it came with my notebook!

pc specs are a:centrino 1.4mhz,40hd,and 256mb of rambus.
could someone please help me with this problem

I have all the updates from instaled from windows updater!
whot should I do?

Yes I would install more ram. XP is taking all you have just to operate.
