over lapping scroll bars

Big ED

The problem I have the scroll bars on the right and the
bottom always overlap my email (SEND, Write, OLD & new)
as well as the web pages. I've tried to get everything to
come out enlarged but nothing I tried was a permanent
fix. Believe me when I say tried everything. If I can't
get my pages to stay enlarged, how can I get them
removed, with the ability of getting them back if needed?
I can do the same thing that the bottom and riht side
scroll bars can do with my mouse. Don't get the scroll
bars that come with a web page and the ones that pop up
and overlap the right side and the bottom. Before I
forget, when the scroll bar on the right is there, it
overlaps the enlarge square and the shut down box in the
upper right corner. This is a big pain in the b--t.
All the info I can find on the subject is for web
designers and these are all in Java & such. I need them
for AOL 8.0 or I.E. 6.0. I did a clean install and before
I put some of the programs I have I tried it and the
results were the same. I tried AOL 9.0 (which I knew
wouldn't work) and got nada. I have a 60gig hard drive
that 85% free and 256Ram. I'm at a lose. can anyone help?
Before I forget, I can adjust I.E. to have an expanded
window which will stop the side bars. The "Remember
window size and position" in AOL works one time only and
then it back to a half opened window and the right and
bottom scroll bars that are overlapping again.

have you tried changing you screen resolution to a bigger
size

Right-Click on Desktop->Properties->Settings tab->Change
Screen area to a bigger size but make sure the color stays
at True Color (32-bit).
