Outputting results of a query in .csv format

I need to output data from the result of a query in csv format, to enable download into a DOS application. At the moment I am outputting in Excel format and then converting to .csv, surely Access 2000 can accomodate this, does anyone know how?
 
Try the TransferText action/method.
