Output Video Resolutions

Am I stuck using the built-in resolutions? They seem pretty restrictive?

My original video is 1024x768 and the built-in resolutions don't seem to
have any options for keeping the original resolution. Is there no way to do
this?

If not, that's pretty terrible if you're making a video to use on your PC
for demonstrations or whatever instead of making a movie for output to a TV
like they seem to assume your'e doing...

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello,

Go to the Microsoft site and grab the free set of utilities under the heading
Windows Media Encoder.

There are a number of things you can do with it including the creation of
custom profiles for Movie Maker
