Hi All,

I need to be able to run a report against a data set, looping so that the
report is run once for every record (one record per report) then output that
report to TIF, if possible (don't ask why...).

I'm pretty sure this can't be done but if anyone knows different, please
share.

Thanks & Ciao

If you are using Office 2003 the MODI printer Driver will allow you to print
the Report to Tiff. Otherwise you would have to purchase a third party TIFF
printer driver.
There is a developer in Germany that will hopefully soon be releasing a
freeware Access Snapshot to Tif converter.

Stephan,

Thanks for the response. I discovered this yesterday and have been testing.
Works well but a little complicated when looping through a recordset. I've
got to run this process ~ 500 times (again, don't ask why) outputting a
uniquely named TIF each time and found the best way is to copy/paste the
report, giving it the name of the key in the dataset, print the new report,
delete it, loop. The unfortunate thing is that the only way I could figure
out to make this loop without user intervention is by using sendkeys to send
an 'enter' so that the user isn't prompted for the saveas name each time it
loops. Other than that, pretty slick way of doing it.

BTW, the MODI print driver must get installed if ANY Office 2K3 app is
installed - I only have Outlook installed.

Again, thanks for the reply and thanks for the website. I refer to it
often.

Ciao,

Tony
