Output Format to pdf does not maintain conditional formatting

I am using Access 2007 to run an Access 2003 report (database) that I
inherited. There is conditional formatting in the report (different colors
for different grade levels). The conditional formatting works in the Design
and Layout view in Access 2007. However, when I use a macro to output to
pdf, all the conditional formatting is lost. The user that created the
database, is able to output to pdf in his Access 2003 without any problems.
We are not sure why the conditional formatting is not showing up in the pdf
when I run the macro. We would like to know where to focus on
troubleshooting efforts. Could this be because I am running it from Access
2007? Or, is it an Adobe issue?
 
One small but easy step to narrow it down would be to view the report in
preview mode and manually "print" it to pdf and see if it looks OK. It
should show up as a printer choice in the file->print dialog box. (if 2007
still calls it that....don't know as I switched from 2007 to 2003 until I
have a lot of time to waste to learn their needless GUI changes)

The manual pdf print worked fine. I guess it's an Adobe issue! Thanks for
helping me narrow it down!
 
Glad that helped a little.

BTW that manual print-to-pdf probably also used Adobe. To further narrow it
down, you might want to dissect / run step-by-step whatever is happening in
your macro process.
