I have seen the same problem that many others have seen and that is the
little red x in the text block when trying to reply to, or composing an email
in outlook. It will not allow any text to be written or a signiture to be
added. I have heard alot of things to be done but I am a little computer
dumb. Does someone have the solution in plain terms with no abbrivations
like OWA? Don't know what that means at all? Maybe a link to a fix? I am
running vista on work computor and it won't work but it works fine at home
running XP. Thanks all

Are you talking about the full outlook client or OWA (Outlook Web Access)
via a broswer?

If you are talking about OWA I believe there is a patch that needs to be
applied to your exchange server. I suspect it works at home because you are
running IE6 rather than IE7 which isincluded with Vista.

Thanks for replying. I do appreciate it. I was setup on the microsoft
outlook access which is probably what your talking about OWA and the exchange
server is in LA and I am in S. Korea. I am running the downloaded version of
IE7 but with windows XP. I read somewhere that the DHTML was not added to
vista so it won't let you compose in access email? Don't know how true that
is? I did download it and still not working. So your saying the
administrator needs to add a patch?

Yes...your exchange admin person in LA needs to install the patch ON the
EXCHANGE server. There is nothing you can do at your end...it's a server
issue. Tell your exchange administrator what is happening and point them in
the direction of the fix.
