Microsoft Outlook 2010, 2007 and 2007 provides an option to automatically send/receive emails at a specific time interval. It also gives the option to change this time-period with the help of Send/receive settings. To fix this issue, please follow the steps are given below:
• Open Outlook, click on File Menu > Options
• Navigate to the Advanced tab and scroll down to send/receive section and then click on Send/receive button.
If you want to hide Send/receive progress dialog in outlook, select schedule an automatic send/receive every_ minutes. The default value of this time period is 30 minutes. You can change this time period as per your needs.
Change Receiving Email time for Single Mail account in Outlook
If you have more than one email account configured in Outlook 2010 and you want to specify a different send/receive time for single account then you should follow few the below mentioned steps:
• Click on send/receive menu & navigate to send/receive section. Select Define send/receive Groups option from the Menu list.
• In send/receive groups dialog box, you can see the default time specified in ‘Schedule an automatic send/receive’ from the All accounts group
