When sending an E-Mail from a PC running Windows 2000 and
Office Xp Pro to a user on the same network running
Windows NT4.0 and Office 2000 Premium, only half the
message is received.
Example: Minutes of a meeting are put in point form and
sent out, only the first 10 points out of 30 are received.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the thread, but then again, I haven't
had enough coffee yet.

Is this a simple message or an attachment? Do tiny messages always work?
Does this problem begin at any particular file size? Does this problem only
occur with attachments? Did Email ever work on either machine? Does email
work on either machine with another machine on the network? I mean, your
message to this newsgroup doesn't look like it was cut off, so some messages
are transmitting properly. Is this only between machines on the intranet?
Only those connected to a specific server?

Those are just some questions to research before any diagnosis can be
reached.

I mean, from what you're describing, it sounds like a problem with the
network itself (i.e., hardware itself, like the cabling or the routers or
hubs or splitters or whatever you have).
