I have added the Holidays to Outlook - However, when
viewing my calendar, they do ot appear.

if they are installed on the program, shouldn't they also
appear?
 
If you are using Outlook 2000 or earlier, the holidays file that came with
your version of Outlook is probably outdated and doesn't include the 2003
holidays. You can download an updated holidays file and find instructions
for using it on the following page:

Some holidays which are non-date static, eg some Muslim holidays which are
determined by phases of the moon, are frequently placed incorrectly in the
"standard" holiday settings. You will need to change these manually.
