We have a situation where some of our Windows 2000 computers have a
customized Office 2000 installed in that Outlook 2000 was NOT installed.
Now we are trying to perform a new installation of Outlook XP on these same
boxes. The installation starts and completes without errors (it is an admin
share point install). However, Outlook XP is never installed. If I start
with a box which has the full Office 2000 suite (Outlook included) the
upgrade works correctly. Don't ask why one would want this combo. Any
ideas on why Outlook XP will not install.
Thanks,
