Hi, I have recently updated with service pack 3. Now everytime, I click on
reply to a message in my inbox. I get this message saying "A program is
trying to access an email address you have stored in outlook" Then it asks
me if I want to allow or deny. I have scanned my computer twice for
viruses, and there are none, and the definitions are up to date. So is that
just something new with the service pack 3, how do I get rid of it? Thanks
for any help.

It sounds like the newly-released Office XP Service Pack 3 was installed on
that machine. We've been seeing this issue crop up a lot in the Outlook
newsgroups over the past few days. You may be able to get around the
problem by either disabling Word as your e-mail editor or updating some of
your add-ins, especially virus scanners. See the following article for more
information:

http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2002sp3.htm#problems

There's also an MSKB article which explains the problem:

This latest service pack has caused a lot of problems related to this with
"Anti-Spam" programs most of whom are scrambling to issue updates to their
products to get around this problem.
