Outlook XP: Toolbar missing

I have a user with Outlook XP. When she opens an item from the SENT folder,
there is no toolbar or drop-down menu items. From where can I re-enable
these features?

Thank you, but they show up everywhere but when she opens a message from the
SENT ITEMS folder. That's the only time they are missing.
 
Did you try that in one of the emails to see if it helps?

Also, rename the outcmd.dat file while Outlook is closed. That resets the
toolbars back to default. Then open Outlook.

And if she right-clicks on the menu bar on that open item, can she not check
Standard?
