Outlook XP SP3 Security Prompt Problem

I quote from Slipstick's web page below. In essence, I think it says
if I have the latest updates to my WIN XP PRO, using Word for my
Editor in Outlook shouldn't trigger the security prompt caused by
Outlook's SP3.

I have the updates, but I'm still getting the prompt. Any
suggestions?

From Slipstick: "SP3 adds the Body, HTMLBody, WordEditor, and
HTMLEditor properties to the list of properties that trigger the
security prompt. You'll need to update any software which now triggers
the security prompt. Since these properties also trigger the prompt in
Outlook 2003, most, if not all, add-ins should have updated versions
available now."
 
With WinFax, it's hard to say...disabling word fixes it for issues caused by
macros, and depending on what part of winfax is causing problems, it may or
may not help.

Is that the only addin you have installed?

Ouch! My ignorance is showing. I don't know how WinFax works in.
How do I tell what addins are installed.

I designated MS Word as my Outlook editor. Whenever I try to send a
new email or a reply, a popup window says: "A program is trying to
access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to
allow this? Yes No".

With WinFax, it's hard to say...disabling word fixes it for issues caused by
macros, and depending on what part of winfax is causing problems, it may or
may not help.

Is that the only addin you have installed?

Do you use Adobe Acrobat? (The full version that costs big bucks.) follow
the instructions at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2002sp3.htm#problems
to fix it.

otherwise, look in tools, options, other, advanced, addins to see what's
installed and we'll go from there.

You steered me to the right place. In the COM Add-Ins, the 'Scansoft
PDF Converter Outlook Addin' was installed and checked. I unchecked
it, and the 'security prompt' stopped.
