Outlook XP setup

When I originally installed Office XP and started Outlook for the first
time, the default for connecting to the Internet was set to LAN instead of
the dial-up connection that I use. I have 2 users setup on this PC with
fast user switching enabled. I am wondering if this setup was suggested
because of the fast user switching. I do not have a LAN card installed in
this PC. Or if this is a problem with my modem setup. The second user also
defaulted to LAN. I did change both to dial-up. Is it better when running
Outlook to turn off the fast user switching? If I do, when creating a
dial-up connection, should I select the me only option for each user instead
of everyone on this PC since I do not have a LAN card installed at this
time?

I would really appreciate any info on this since I want to do a reinstall
and I would like to make sure that my connections are setup properly

Change your connection options in Internet Explorer first, then in
Outlook (for both users). That should fix your problem.
