Outlook Xp & Microsoft Mail

I recently upgraded to XP. Both in Operation System and version of Office I
am using. However, I am not able to use the OUtlook that comes with my
Office XP sinse my work uses Microsoft mail as their mail server and our IT
person says that the XP version of Outlook does not support Microsoft mail.
Can anyone tell me otherwise and how we can do it?

Your IT person is right. MS Mail support was dropped with OL2002 and won't
be back. Did you speak to them before doing your Outlook upgrade? If you
have a corporate network, you need to abide by the standards & work with
your IT staff....
