No, I was mistaken before, believing that when you typed in a name in to
"To" box, that it retrieved the information from your Contacts folder.
You said it retrieves them from people you have sent messages to. I was
just saying that there are several in particular that I use every day, and
it doesn't plug those in. Just trying to understand why it hasn't learned
those.
Thanks for your help!

Please provide the details and repro steps to support your claim. Your post
is inconsistent. First you were expecting autocomplete to use the data in
your Contacts Folder. Now you are not?

Odd then, because there are several that I've used DOZENS of times and it
never recognizes them.
Outlook doesn't use your Contacts for autocompletion.
It uses the names of people to whom you've already sent messages.

Is there a reason why that when prepariing an email, Outlook XP will
automatically fill SOME of the email addresses when I type the person's
name
in the "TO" window and not others?
I don't see any differences in my Contacts file in those that it does,
and
those it doesn't.
