outlook XP 2002

Hi all, my wife just got a new lap top with vista pre installed.
If I load Outlook 2002 onto it will it work OK? She's had problems with the
windows mail programme and outlook 2000, but still wants to use Outlook.

Outlook XP will work but it won't remember passwords on Vista.
