When I try to start Office 2003 Outlook I get the message "Business Contact
Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." It then gives me the option to Send or Don't Send an error
report. I then get a window asking if I want to start Outlook in safe mode.
If I say no, it repeats what just happened. If I say yes I get a window that
says Outlook failed to start in safe mode and asks me if I want to start
"Detect and Repair". Selecting this seems to do some sort of reinstallation,
with the end result being that Outlook still behaves exactly the same. By the
way, Outlook has been running fine until today.

Hi

This might be an issue coz of corruption due to .Net Frame Work .Uninstall
all veriosn of .Net Frame from Add /remove programs and then remove and
reinstall Business Contact Manager

The problem appeas to be .Net Frame Work 2.0. I uninstalled it and
the problem went away. I find this somewhat amazing since, as far as
I know, .Net Frame Work is a Microsoft produc as well. Anyway,
thanks for your help.

Mike
