outlook won't start due to business contact manager error

Hard drive went south - had to rebuild the system
now with the install of office - i setup my mail account, and when i start
office - it says that it can't connect to business contact manager (which i
didn't configure - nor do i need) and it goes into this infinite loop of
sending error to MS etc. Outlook never starts
how do i fix????????

My guess is that the machine now has BCM partly installed. Try
removing BCM from Add/Remove programs. Once its off the machine,
Outlook should not have an BCM messages. If the messages continue
after uninstalling BCM, Go to Control Panel Mail, and remove the BCM
store from your profile.

Once the problem is cleared up, if you want to use BCM with a profile,
reinstall it.
