outlook wont remember password

Hi
I have a few clients using outlook 2002 fully patched. I click for it to remember password and yet when I close it up and go back in, it still prompts for a password??? Thanks folks.
 
Normally this problem can be resolved by following the steps provided in
the article reference in the following link,
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;290684. The
protected storage key being damaged can cause this issue.
