Outlook without "SEND" button???

Hi everyone,
I wonder if someone can help me with this please.
I just purchased Office 2007 ultimate, and on the outlook everythin
works well inclusive the customer contact manager but there's no SEN
button when comes to the email section.
This is been always a problem even with the trials I had before,
just thought with a full installation would be sorted.
Does anyone know why?
Did I switch off any feature before?
I seem to remember that long time ago I had a question asking if
wanted to have outlook as my main email? I think I answered no at th
time. Anything to do with that?
Any views will be appreciated,

You need to install and configure an e-mail account in Outlook for the Send
button to be active.

Since you are asking for help, and since it could possibly take longer
than 6 days to resolve the problem, why are you asking that your post
disappear in just 6 days (by using the X-No-Archive: Yes)?

So, did you ever define an account? Use the Mail applet in Control
Panel to check.

Perhaps he has no choice. It does not appear that he is using a standard
newsreader because there's no User-Agent header.

Thanks for your help.
It was what I found out, I did set up my business email account
because it was from a third party was easy as I had all the inf
needed, now just need
to set up my personal hotmail account that's not so easy but I'll kee
trying.

X-Originating-IP: 86.6.76.43
which belongs to NTL/Virginmedia, UK.

So we have someone in the UK posting through a gateway in Germany. No
big thing in itself. Don't know if the user's newsreader is adding the
X-No-Archive header or it is added by whatever Usenet service or gateway
they are using. My bet is the poster hasn't bothered to configure their
unidentified newsreader (to NOT add this header by default). Any forum
using a Usenet gateway would end up punching holes in the history of
their posts by using this header.

Free Hotmail accounts will require support of the newer Deltasync
protocol. Microsoft is dropping the old WebDAV protocol that Outlook
and Outlook Express understand. You can add the Outlook Connector
add-in from Microsoft to Outlook 2003/2007 to add support for Deltasync
to those e-mail clients. Otherwise, you can use the Windows Live Mail
client (that replaces Outlook Express) that includes Deltasync support.


Paid accounts for Windows Live Hotmail Plus get access to Microsoft's
POP and SMTP mail hosts. POP and SMTP are protocols that are
understood by all versions of Outlook and other e-mail clients (no
add-on required because Deltasync is not involved). With a paid
account, you don't have to bother with Microsoft's proprietary e-mail
protocols.

So do you have a free or paid Hotmail account?

Hotmail is only available in Outlook if you are using a paid account or the
Outlook Connector.

Hi Vanguard
I have a free hotmail account (windows live hotmail) and I'm going to
have a go at your link as I didn't have much time yet. Did run a
encrypted and a unencrypted try but nothing to set it up manually will
ask server questions that I don't know the answer for so Still stuck on
that one.
