Our LAN, using Windows NT with 13 workstations stopped
allowing the workstations to send e-mail using Outlook.

We can still receive e-mail.

We can send using outlook express.

We are using Microsoft Exchange in the same profiles on
outlook with our internet e-mail.

We have been using this setup for about 3 years with no
problems. our server downloaded a security update the day
before we started having problems.( tuesday 8-19)

We are connected to the internet using a routed ISDN
account.

All workstations are having the same problem.

The e-mails are returned to us with the "No transport
provider was available for delivery to this recipient"
message.

Any suggetions would be helpful!

Thanks

Looks like one of your services has stopped on the
Exchange server. MTA maybe. Check them out, restart or
reboot as a cure-all.

.
When I reboot these 2 services did not start:

1)The following boot-start or system-start driver(s)
failed to load:
NT4dds

2)The server was unable to add the virtual root '/PrxDocs'
for the directory 'C:\WINNT.SBS\help\proxy' due to the
following error: The system cannot find the path
specified. The data is the error code.

The e-mail still does not send.

I could not find a service called "MTA"

Thanks

Rich
