Outlook Will Not Remember Mail Password

When Outlook checks email, there is a box that pops up prompting for PW
and a box to check if you want the program to 'Save this password in
your password list'?. The PW is auto filled but I have to answer the
question each time. I must put a check in the box and click OK. It
apparently is not remembered because I must check it each time. It
would be nice to have it remembered and also run in the background.

Is there something that needs to be 'checked' to make it work correctly?

Outlook is checking three email accounts. The main seems to work OK the
second and third is where I have this problem.

I am a new user to XP Pro and Outlook.

Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password - Repair

This fix also applies to Outlook, other programs that store passwords
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and AutoComplete.
