outlook will not remember email account passwords

Even though I have checked off the box for Outlook
to 'remember password', it doesn't remember them after I
reboot the machine. I have to re-enter the password for
my email account afer re-booting the machine. It
remembers the password for as long as I keep the session
active.

The problem you are experiencing is normally due to the Registry containing incorrect information for the Protected Storage System Provider registry subkey for your account.
