I am running Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003. They were
playing nice after recent set up of Exchange but now my
Outlook will not access the Exchange Server. My Outlook
is set up to make the Exchange folders available off line
and I can access email on other servers (I have multiple
email accounts). But I can't synch any public foulders or
access the exchange server itself etc. I pretty sure the
problem is in my laptop/Outlook, not the Exchange Server
since no one else is having problems and I can access my
mailbox without problems on my desktop computer.

What should I look at/change?

Are you getting any error messages when trying to connect to the exchange
server?

I seem to be connected to the exchange server without
difficulty. First, emails that have been downloaded onto
my laptop off line, now appear in my inbox on my desktop
after the laptop is reconnected to the lan. I cannot
synch folders.

The Exchange Server Sending seems to go when connected,
but there is a separate Microsoft Exchange Server error =
0x80070057.

Thanks

Due to the Swen virus, all e-mails sent to this account will be deleted
w/out reading.

hmm... that number translates to MAPI_E_INVALID_PARAMETER. Does the error
happen when syncing the mailbox or the public folders in your public folder
favorites? If the later, try a new profile that just syncs the mailbox
first. While that is working, remove and readd any folders to your public
folder favorites. Once the mailbox sync is done, add one public folder
favorite at a time. There is a possibility that there is one item that is
corrupted that needs to be dealt with. Finding it will be a pain of course.
