Im using Microsoft Outlook Web Access, in the office intranet, to read my
Outlook mail via IE 6. How do I access this account from home on Outlook (or
Express) on XP? I have user rights but no admin access.

What programm do I need to install to the home computer to be able o log in
to this account?

You just need a web browser.
Get your exchange admin to tell you the address to put into your browser.
For my inbox, I go to http://mail.companyname.com/exchange/ (where companyname
is the company I work for). Your's might be different.

For actual Outlook access your admins would need to open the server to
remote RPC calls from out of the LAN, a major security risk, or set up a VPN
(virtual private network) for you to use for logging in. If your company
uses Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 they also could set up an RPC over HTTP
connection for you. Otherwise you can continue to use OWA or if your admins
have enabled IMAP access for you it's possible to set up Outlook to use IMAP
(not such a great thing) or OE to use IMAP to your server (better than
Outlook for IMAP but you wouldn't get your email in Outlook).
