I have a user in a remote office that is experiencing
latency in downloading email attachments. Bandwith is good
and pc processor and memory is all good. Is there a way to
force outlook to cache email messages. The work offline
feature is enabled.

Any Ideas?

Which version of Outlook? All versions support offline mode which caches
messages, and Outlook 2003 has cached mode enabled by default.

look in the account properties for the exchange account to enable offline
mode.

I have enabled offline use. The CEO was attempting to open
a message with a attachemnt size of 1.5 mb. It took over 2
minutes to open. Is it possible to auto download the
messages into to the pc as they arrive?

What's the network bandwidth between the two offices, and how many remote
users go over that connection? Is this a leased line, or a VPN connection?

I would suggest that the remote users work offline by default and have
Outlook sync every X minutes while offline....it won't change the speed, but
it will usually prevent users from freezing/losing live data if the
connection goes awry.
