I was wondering if someone can help with a problem regarding custom
properties. I have a custom property whcih is set at appointment creation in
either Outlook, using MAPI or though webDAV to the exchange server. WebDAV
creates the property into the
http://schemas.microsoft.com/mapi/string/{00020329-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} namespace, which is the one used by Outlook to store custom properties.
The only trouble is that the custom property does not seem to be available
on appointments created by webDAV but is fine for those created in Outlook. I
opened up the appointment file (saved from outlook) in notepad and searched
for 'VisitID' which is the property name, and its there for the Outlook
craeted appointments, but not for those created using webDAV.
After looking further I have discovered that OutlookSpy can see the value,
but its not being returned when returning the outlook appointment object in
my application. I have been informed that webdav created custom properties
are not available though outlook - is this correct or is there a work around?
I would appreciate any help on this matter
Thanks
