We are about to upgrade from Office 2000 to Office 2003.
In 2000 I created a Public Contacts file and added several
fields on a second page for our specific use. I noticed
that when I exported the Outlook Public Contacts file, it
would not export our specific-use fields. We are about to
upgrade to 2003 and I was wondering whether I would have
to recreate all that information. Can I do one of the
following:
1. create the specific-use fields on the form, then move
the data from Office 2000; or
2. create a .pst file to export the existing data, re-
create the fields on the new form, and import from
the .pst file
3. when we move data from the 2000 program, will it
automatically convert/copy the forms I created and move
that information into 2003?
I would appreciate any help.
