Outlook too slow to download

It takes too long to download my email. 6 or so emails is ok. It took 1 1/2
hrs. to download 30 emails, most being junk. This is unacceptable. How can
this problem be fixed?

Size is more relevant then quantity. What's the total kilobytes or
megabytes? It's possible someone is sending you an email with a big
picture or other media in it. Dial-up, Cable or DSL ISP service? Check
with your ISP to see if they offer any SPAM filtering services.
