outlook to Windows Mail conversion

Is there anyway of converting MS Outlook pst files to Windows Mail?

You can't directly convert.

There are 2 ways to transfer your .pst data to Windows Mail:

1. Install Outlook on the Vista computer. Open WM and import. Or, continue
to use Outlook, if it's 2003 or newer.

2. In Outlook on your old computer, export to Outlook Express format. Copy
the .dbx & .wab files to a temporary folder on the Vista computer. Open WM
and import.

How do you convert if all you have is the outlook.pst file? The old
computer will not work and I would like to convert my outlook into
windows mail.

You could download the Office 2007 trial
(http://us1.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx?nd_loc=us), install that,
copy the .pst file to the Vista computer, Open the .pst in Outlook 2007.
Open WM and import.
