Outlook to replace OE

Hi
I have installed XP on a machine which ran previously ME. I now have
problems with OE -- it does not access the Contacts I have in Outlook (it
used to share those) and does not access the Personal Folders.
To solve the problem I thought maybe I could use Outlook as my Email
client -- but I use Hotmail for my email. I was told the XP and Office 2000
have solved the incompatibility between O and Hotmail.

Presently Outlook does not access my Hotmail -- cannot send or receive
emails via Outlook.

What should I do?

Thanks
Don

After you installed the new version of OE, did you re-enable sharing of its
address book with Outlook?

Hi

How is this done? ie: sharing of address book?
What do I do about the Personal Folders?

Thanks

Don
