Outlook to Live Calendar

I am setting up a hotmail account and am initializing it with data from my
desktop's Microsoft Outlook. I have successfully imported my contacts, a
process which was both easy and well documented.

I am now attempting import my calendar items into my Windows Live Calendar.
I am unable to find any documentation on how to do so nor can I find an
import/export facility in any of the various options pages.

Is importing Outlook Calendar information at all possible? If so I would
appreciate being guided to a set of instructions.

If you have Outlook 2003 or 2007, download and install the Outlook Connector,
if that's not how you're access your Live account now, and then just copy the
items from your main calendar to the Live calendar. In fact, that's how you
should handle the Contacts as well. No export/import required.
