I send an e-mail to the same people numerous times during the day. I
found out that I can create a new e-mail from a template with the same
names in the To fields. I then insert the relevant updated file and
Send the e-mail. No problem on my computer. When I copy the code to
another computer it does not work. I checked the file location where
the template is saved, (something like D:\Documents and
Settings\User_ID\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Templates\mail.oft
) and the only difference I can see is when on the computer it doesn't
work on I cannot see the Application Data folder on his PC.
I workaround I am using at the moment is to save the template onto the
desktop, not a good idea. What I have on mine is a button on the
toolbar that calls the relevant code.
Can anyone help as to why i cannot see the folder. It does exist
because when you search for *.oft files you can see it in the
properties.
