Apologies if this has been asked before and be gentle with
me, this is my first time!

Where I work we have recently converted from Lotus Notes
to Outlook 2000 for email. In Notes, having received an
email we used to be able to convert that to a task. Does
anyone know if this is possible in Outlook?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

John

I know it's not usually the done thing to reply to your own message but
since posting
I have found out how to do what I want. It's a simple as dragging the
selected email
to the Task icon in the Outlook Bar then filling in the task form that
appears.

Thanks anyway.

John

That is a solution indeed. If you just want to set a reminder to the mail;
righclick the mail and choose and flag it for follow up. Make sure you keep
the message in your Inbox or the alert won't work.
